Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a developer excellent in developing property, trans-ferability and aging stability of them by using inorg. fine particles having a specified particle diameter surface-treated with silicone oil as a fluidizing agent for an electrophotographic toner and adding the particles to an electrophotographic toner.
CONSTITUTION: Inorg. fine particles having 30-100nm average particle diameter of primary particles are treated with silicone oil added by 2-3mg per 1m2 surface area of the particles to obtain the objective fluidizing agent. This fluidizing agent is added to the surface of a toner to obtain the objective electrophotographic toner. This toner is used in the objective electrophotographic developing device fitted to an electrophotographic recorder in which an electro- static charge image on an electrostatic charge image carrier is developed with a toner for developing an electrostatic charge image to form a toner image and this toner image is electrostatically transferred to a transfer material by bringing a transfer means into contact with the surface of the carrier through the transfer material.
