Abstract:

NEW MATERIAL:To compound of formula I [R1 is H, NO2, NH2, OH, 1W4C alkoxy, 1W 4C alkyl or halogen; R2 is H or 1W4C alkyl; R3 is H or 1W4C alkoxy; dotted line is saturated or unsaturated bond; A is CO or group of formula IIWformula IV(R5 and R6 are lower alkyl); B is 1W12C alkyl; X is H2 or O; excluding the case that R1=R2=R3=H, the dotted line is unsaturated bond, A is CO, B is methyl and X is H2].

EXAMPLE: 4-(7-Chloro-2-fluorenyl)-3-buten-2-one.

USE: Anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic agent.

PREPARATION: The substituent group R1 is introduced into fluorene by conventional means, and the product is formylated to obtain various substituted fluorene-2-carboxyaldehyde. The compound is made to react with methyl ketone to obtain the compound of formula I wherein the side chain is -CH=CHOB, and is treated under various reducing conditions to obtain the corresponding enols, ketones and alcohols, etc.
