To provide a fluorescence diagnosis treatment apparatus which can use the same light source for treatment and fluorescence diagnosis without changing an exciting light wavelength.
The fluorescence diagnosis treatment apparatus provides a treatment to destroy the lesion by exciting a light-sensitive substance and generating activated oxygen, and diagnoses the lesion by catching fluorescence from an excited light-sensitive substance. An excitation light source 60 which generates light to excite the light-sensitive substance and a spectrum shaping means 62 which removes a component other than an excitation wavelength spectrum among the exciting light from the excitation light source 60 are provided. The spectrum shaping means 62 is diagnosed in the state of being placed on a light path from the excitation light source 60. Treatment is provided in the state that the spectrum shaping means 62 is not placed on a light path from the excitation light source 60. Hereby, the same light source can be used for treatment and fluorescence diagnosis without changing an exciting light wavelength.
