To effectively radiate heat of a circuit board, in a fluorescent display tube of a structure in which the circuit board having a built-in positive electrode and driving circuit is fixed onto an inner face of an envelope.
An aluminum thin film 17 and a layer of a die bonding material 18 are laminated on the inner face of an envelope base 12 constituting one part of the envelope 11, to fix thereon the circuit board 15 having the built-in positive electrode and driving circuit. An adhesive material 20 containing a metal particle is provided on the die bonding material provided continuously from a space between the circuit board and the envelope base to an outer side of the circuit board, and an inner end part 21a of a heat radiation lead 21 penetrated air-tightly through the envelope is fixed to radiate the heat to an outside of the envelope. A temperature of the circuit board gets low to exhibit high light emission efficiency, to enhance a brightness life and to reduce a malfunction of the diving circuit.
