Title:
FLUORESCENT LUMINAIRE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2002133938
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To render a space with an arbitrary color by utilizing the light emission of a phosphor instead of reflected light of it.

A fluorescent luminaire 1 is provided where a power plug 8 is inserted in a wall socket and a power source switch, not shown in figure, is turned on to light forty ultraviolet ray LEDs 3 of an ultraviolet ray LED light source 2, so that a sheet 11 housed in a transparent sheet pocket 13a of a binder 13 placed on a bookstand 10 is irradiated with the ultraviolet ray. The phosphor coated on the sheet 11 emits light of unique fluorescent color, functioning as the lighting for rendering the space. If the sheet pocket 13a of the binder 13 is taken up after a certain period, another page of the sheet 11 which is coated with a phosphor emitting light in another fluorescent color is opened to light a room with the fluorescent color. So, only by taking up the sheet pocket 13a of the binder 13, the room is rendered with different lighting colors.
