Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL:The fluorescent peptide of formulaI(R is fluorescent dye).
EXAMPLE: Fluorescein.isothiocyanate( FITC )-labeled-Ser-Asp-Leu-Pro-Gln-Thr- His-Ser-Leu-Gly-Asn-Arg-Arg-Ala-Leu-Ile-Leu-Leu-Ala-Gln-OH.
USE: Determination of human α-interferon by fluorescent depolarization. An immune complex is formed by the specific immunological reaction of the fluorescent peptide with the antibody of human α-interferon.
PROCESS: The fluorescent peptide of formulaIcan be prepared by reacting the novel peptide of formula II with a fluorescent dye (e.g. FITC, tetramethylrhodamine.isothiocyanate, etc.) in a proper buffer solution (e.g. borate buffer solution) under alkaline conditions, preferably at 8W12pH, usually at 0W40°C.
