Abstract:
A fluorescent tube retainer is capable of retaining a number of fluorescent tubes. Even though the fluorescent tube retainer is in long strip shape, it has a high strength and is capable of increasing the insulation between the conductive part and the external metal part. A number of insertion openings (31) and first strip (32) and second strip (33) are formed of same metal plate. The bases of insertion openings (31), first strip (32) and second strip (33) are embedded in an insulation substrate (20) formed of a synthetic resin. The insulation substrate (20) is in long strip shape formed with a plurality of insertion openings (31) arranged in intervals and is reinforced by the first strip (32) and the second strip (33). As a result, the insulation substrate is unlikely to break under operation. The first strip (32) and the second strip (33) are used as conductive circuits. However, since the strips (32), (33) are embedded in the synthetic resin of insulation substrate (20), the insulation between the strips (32), (33) and the metallic body substrate (2) is easily ensured.
