To provide a fluorinated grease having low torque levels at -40°C or lower, especially lower than those of linear perfluoropolyether oil-based greases of prior art.
The fluorinated grease comprises (A) 1-50 wt.% of a thickening agent and (B) two perfluoropolyethers (B1) and (B2); wherein the perfluoroether (B1) consists of 0.1-100 wt.% of a compound of the structural formula: X1-O(CF2O)n(CF2CF2O)m(CF2CF2CF2O)p(CF2CF2CF2CF2O)q-X2 (wherein, X1 and X2 are each of the formula: -(CF2)zCF3), has a number-average molecular weight of 1,000-10,000 and is lower than 20 cSt in dynamic viscosity at 40°C, and the perfluoroether (B2) consists of 99.9-0 wt.% of a compound of (CFXO) type with recurring units: -CF2CF2O-, -C3F6O-, -CF(CF3)CF2O- and -CF2CF(CF3)O- distributed statistically along the skeleton and is higher than 15 cSt in dynamic viscosity at 40°C.
