To provide a method for producing a fluorinated polytriazine containing two or more triazine rings in one molecule, useful for synthesizing a fluorine-containing elastomer having high heat resistance.
In the method for producing a fluorinated polytriazine compound, the fluorinated polytriazine compound essentially comprising two or more triazine rings and a fluorine atom is obtained by reacting a compound (A) containing n groups represented by the formula: -COX with a compound represented by formula (b) (wherein n is an integer of 1; m is an integer of 0; (n+m) is an integer of 2; R2 is a fluorinated monofunctional hydrocarbon group or a fluorinated monofunctional hydrocarbon group having an etherial oxygen atom; and R3 is a fluorinated bifunctional hydrocarbon group or a fluorinated bifunctional hydrocarbon group having an etherial oxygen atom).
