Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a fluorination catalyst for producing hydrofluorocarbon in high yield and to provide a method for producing hydrofluorocarbon in good productivity using the catalyst.

CONSTITUTION: Fluorination reaction of a halogenated hydrocarbon by HF is carried out in vapor phase using a fluorination catalyst containing indium, chromium, oxygen and fluorine as essential constituent elements and having 0.005-0.6 atom ratio of indium to chromium to provide a hydrofluorocarbon in high yield even under pressure.
