Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the subject compound having high fluorine content and easily giving a thermosetting bisimide useful as a raw material for polyimide, polyamide, etc., by reacting a specific fluorine-containing aromatic diamine compound with an ethylenically unsaturated dicarboxylic acid anhydride.
CONSTITUTION: The objective fluorine-containing bisamic acid expressed by formula III and easily giving a thermosetting bisimide compound useful as a raw material for polyimide, polyamide, etc., can be produced by reacting a fluorine-containing aromatic diamine compound of formula I [Rf is group of the formula CnF2n-1((n) is integer of 6-12) which contains a double bond and may be properly branched; two amino groups are bonded to o-, m- or p-site relative to the ester group] [e.g. 5-(perfluorononenyloxy)isophthalic acid bis(4-aminophenyl ester) l with an ethylenically unsaturated dicarboxylic acid anhydride expressed by formula II (D is dicarboxylic acid residue having ethylenically unsaturated double bond) (e.g. maleic anhydride).
