Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL:The compound of formula [Rf is C6H11 or C9H17; R is -(CH2)n- CH=CH2 (n is 1W9), -(CH2CH2O)m-CH2-CH=CH2 (m is 1W3) or -CH2-C≡CH].
USE: A raw material for fluorine-containing polymer. Useful also as raw materials for various synthetic intermediates, various additives such as surface-modifying agent for metals, etc.
PREPARATION: The compound of formula can be produced by reacting p- perfluorohexenyloxybenzoic acid or p-perfluorononenyloxybenzoic acid or their acid chloride with an unsaturated alcohol by conventional process.
