There is provided a fluorine-containing coating composition essentially consisting of (A) a fluororesin having hydrolyzable silyl groups and being soluble in an organic solvent and (B) a compound having an isocyanate group and a hydrolyzable silyl group in the molecule or a compound having a mercapto group and a hydrolyzable silyl group in the molecule, wherein 0.1-10 pts.wt. component B is present per 100 pts.wt. fluororesin (A).
