To provide a compound useful for producing a light-emitting element excellent in luminous efficiency.
This fluorine-containing compound is represented by formula (1). [In the formula, Ar1, Ar2, Ar3, Ar4 and Ar5 each independently represents an arylene group which may have a substituent; n1, n2 and n3 each independently represents 0 or 1; and Z1 and Z2 each independently represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group which may have a substituent, an alkoxy group which may have a substituent, an aryloxy group which may have a substituent, or a cyano group, or a group represented by -CpFqHrOs (p represents an integer of ≥1 and ≤10, q represents an integer of ≥1 and ≤2p+1; r represents an integer of ≥0 and ≤2p+1-q; and s represents 0 or 1), on condition that at least one of Ar1, Ar2, Ar3, Ar4 and Ar5 is a fluorenediyl group which may have a substituent; and at least one of the substituents in Z1, Z2 and the arylene group is a group represented by -CpFqHrOs].
