PURPOSE: To provide a composition containing a specific fluorine-containing dibasic acid diester and a curable component, having excellent weather resistance and heatresistance and giving a light-transmitting fluorine-containing cured coating film having high surface hardness and low refractive index.
CONSTITUTION: The composition contains (A) 50-95wt.% of a fluorine-containing unsaturated dibasic acid diester of formula I to formula IV (X1 and X2 are 3-12C branched alkyl, 2-12C fluoroalkyl, etc.; at least one of X1 and X2 is a group containing F) [preferably bis(2,2,2-trifluoroethyl) citraconate etc.] or their mixture and (B) 5-50wt.% of a curable component [preferably diethylene glycol di(meth)acrylate, etc.]. The compound A can be produced e.g. by esterifying the corresponding unsaturated dibasic acid such as citraconic acid or mesaconic acid with the corresponding fluorine-containing alcohol.
