Abstract:
To obtain a new compound useful as an electron donating-accepting compound of an electrophotographic photoreceptor having a photosensitive layer on an electroconductive support, having high sensitivity and excellent durability, and excellent in repetition stability.
A compound of formula I [R is a (substituted) alkyl, a perfluoroalkyl, a (substituted) phenyl or the like; X is H, a halogen, an alkyl, a perfluoro alkyl or the like]. The compound of formula I is obtained by reacting a 4-halogenonaphthalimide of formula II (Z is Cl, Br or I) with a fluorinated vinyl compound of formula III in the presence of a transition metal compound of the group VIII.
