Abstract:
To provide a fluorine-containing surfactant having improved solubility in water without damaging the high surface-activating properties peculiar to fluorine.
The fluorine-containing sulfate-based surfactant is represented by general formula (1) [wherein, X1 and X2 are each a hydrogen atom or -SO3M (wherein, M is a hydrogen atom or an alkali metal atom) (with the proviso that at least one of X1 and X2 is -SO3M); Rf is a perfluorohexenyl group or a perfluorononenyl group; and R is a 1-2C saturated alkyl group].
