Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL: The compd. of formula I {X is formula II [R1, R2 are each H, halo, alkyl, or R1 is H and R2 is formula III, formula IV (R3, R4 are H, methyl, halo, haloalkyl having ≥2 F; R5 is Cl, Br)]; Y is CH2-Z (Z is halo, cyano, azide, cyanomethyl, OCOR6 (R6 is H, alkyl haloalkyl), etc.], C≡CR10, NH-N=C(R11)R12 (R10 to R12 are each H, alkyl, haloalkyl)].
EXAMPLE: 4-(hydroxymethyl)-2,3,5,6-tetrafuorobenzyl(1RS, cis)-3-(Z-2-chlor-3,3,3- trifluoroprop-2-en-1-yl)-2,2-dimethylcyclopropanecarboxylate.
USE: An insecticide.
PROCESS: The compd. of formula I is obtd. by bringing, for example, the acid of the formula, X-COOH and the alcohol of formula V into reaction in the presence of an acid catalyst or dehydrating agent.
