Abstract:

To produce a fluoroprepene compound, having excellent insecticidal activities and useful as an active ingredient of an insecticide.

This fluoropropene compound is represented by formula I [R1 is a 1-10C alkyl, a 1-5C haloalkyl, etc., (Z is O atom, S atom, etc.; X is a halogen); R2 to R4 are each independently a 1-3C alkyl, a 1-3C haloalkyl, a halogen or H, with the proviso that R2 to R4 are not simultaneously H; (r) is an integer of 0-2], e.g. 4-(3-(4-chlorophenoxy)propyloxy)-3,5-dichloro-1-(3,3-difluoro)-2- propenyloxy)benzene. The compound represented by formula I is obtained by reacting an aldehyde compound represented by formula II with a trialkylphosphine, a triarylphosphine or a tri(alkylamino)phosphine with a halogen compound represented by the formula CF2X2, CFX3, CF2XC(=O)-ONa or CFX2C(=O)-ONa.
