PURPOSE: To provide the titled resin compsn. capable of yielding moldings having fine appearance, by incorporating hydrogen-contg. fluororesins, crosslinkers, and silica.
CONSTITUTION: 100pts.wt. hydrogen-contg. fluororesin (e.g., vinylidene fluoride polymer, ethylene/tetrafluoroethylene copolymer) (fluorine-contg. elastomers such as tetrafluoroethylene/propylene copolymer may be used in combination), about 1W20pts.wt. crosslinker (pref. compds. contg. an allyl group, e.g., triallyl cyanurate), and about 0.01W20pts.wt. silica (pref. highly pure anhydrous silica powder prepd. by burning refined silicon tetrachloride) are mixed. The resulting fluororesin compsn. is extruded while melt-kneading by the use of extruders, etc. and crosslinked by irradiation, yielding moldings.
