Abstract:

To provide a fluororubber composition used for a rubber molding such as O-ring hardly being destroyed even when used at high temperature under highly compressed conditions.

This fluororubber hardly causing breakage even under at high temperature and high compression is obtained by setting crosslink density of the fluororubber at ≤1.0×10-3mole/cc. The compression set is kept low by adding mercaptosilane to the fluororubber. Further, diatomaceous earth is added to the resultant to provide a fluororubber composition excellent in adhesiveness to a metal.
