Abstract:

To provide a fluororubber composition using a general-purpose ternary fluororubber, giving a cured product having excellent water resistance, steam resistance, fuel oil resistance and permanent compression set resistance characteristics.

The fluororubber composition contains a tetrafluoroethylene/vinylidene fluoride/hexafluoropropene terpolymer rubber having a 67-69 wt.% fluorine content and being peroxide-crosslinkable, (A) a carbon black having 5-20 m2/g specific surface area, (B) a bitumen filler, (C) zinc oxide or hydrotalcite and (D) an organic peroxide.
