Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a fluororubber composition generating extremely little smoke in combustion and suitable as an insulation material and sheath material, etc. of wire cable, by adding a specific amount of a specific metal oxide to a fluororubber.
CONSTITUTION: 100pts.(wt.) of a fluororubber composed mainly of vinylidene fluoride and hexafluoropropylene is incorporated with 2W50pts. of one or more metal oxides selected from the oxides of magnesium, calcium, lead, zinc and tin.
