Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a flush toilet that suppresses an amount of water necessary for sealing water in a trap, and thereby saves water.SOLUTION: A flush toilet of one embodiment of the present invention includes a bowl 1, a drainage pipe part 10 extended from a bottom of the bowl 1, a transformable drain trap 2 connected to the drainage pipe part 10, and a switching device 3 for switching a shape of the drain trap 2 into a seal water shape and a drainage shape. This flush toilet is provided so that a portion of the drain trap 2 is moved by the switching device 3, and thereby the shape of the drain trap 2 is switched, and when the drain trap 2 is in the seal water shape, the capacity in the region of the upstream side from the portion of the drain trap 2 may become smaller than when in the drainage shape.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
