To stabilize wire feedability at a state a conduit liner is bent and welding is done with high current by specifying a friction coefficient and roughness in an axial direction of a wire surface and adhering an oil containing MoS2, wax in a specified quantity on a wire surface.
A friction coefficient of a wire surface is set to 0.15-0.25. A roughness Ra in an axial direction of the wire surface is set to 0.5-0.2 μm. An oil containing 0.5-2.0 volume % MoS2, 1-4 volume % wax is adhered by 0.2-0.8 g per 10 kg wire on the wire surface. A wire 1 is fed from a spool 2 to a conduit liner 5 by a flat pressure feed roller 3 of a wire feed part and a feed roller 4 having V groove and is supplied to a welding part through a welding torch 6. The friction force due to contact between the wire and the roller 4 having V groove is generated to be feed force. The conduit liner 5 is a long size and is used in a bent state.
