To provide a flux plating device for coating a plating film by immersing a steel plate with a flux coated on its surface in a molten metal which is capable of enhancing the quality of the steel plate with the plating film coated thereon by reducing the amount of the flux remaining on the surface of the steel plate after removing an oxide film on the surface of the steel plate.
A flux 11 deposited on a surface of a steel plate H is removed by using a stripping plate 6 provided between a pot roll 3 and a straightening roll 4. The stripping plate 6 is integrated with the straightening roll 4. Since the stripping plate 6 is integrally moved with the horizontally moving straightening roll 4, the distance between the steel plate H and the stripping plate 6 can be kept constant even when the position of the straightening roll 4 or the position of the steel plate H is fluctuated. The flux 11 deposited on the surface of the steel plate H can be adequately removed by constantly setting the distance between the steel plate H and a stripping unit 6a of the stripping plate 6 to be an optimum length.
