Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable a connecting operation to be easily automated by a method wherein a terminal and the lead wire of an electronic part are connected together by spot welding.
CONSTITUTION: A metal terminal 3 is planted on a terminal mounting support 2 of a coil bobbin 1, and a coil winding 8 is wound on the mounting support 2 through the intermediary of an insulating film 9 to form six layers. At this point, both the ends of the coil winding 8 of each layer are tentatively fixed to the terminal 3 by tying. A diode 5 is mounted through such a manner that the ends of a lead wire 6 of the diode 5 are pinched at the terminal 3 with welding electrodes 12, and the surfaces of the terminal 3 and the lead wire 6 are fused welded together. By this setup, the lead wires of an electronic part can be easily connected to a terminal, a connecting operation can be easily automated, and pre-processing where the lead wire is bent into the shape of L can be dispensed with.
