This flying object launcher 20 has a launching cylinder 30 with a launching object 90 arrayed therein, a thrusting means 50 to thrust the flying object 90 set on the side of the launcher 20 to a launching port of the launching cylinder 30, a thrust detecting means installed on the side of the flying object 90 to detect the action of the thrusting means 50, and a propulsion action directing means which is installed on the side of the flying object 90 to direct the action of a flying object propulsion generator by detecting the thrusting of the flying object 90 outside the launching cylinder 30.
