This flying support image display system 1 comprises a plurality of kinds of image sensors for acquiring visual field image data of the outside of an aircraft (a visible camera 2, an infrared camera 3, and a millimeter wave radar 4); an image fusion device 5 for fusing a plurality of kinds of visual field image data acquired by the image sensors to generate one piece of fused image data; an image composer 6 for composing the fused image data, the navigation data necessary for operation of the aircraft and the geographic data to generate composite image data; and an image display device 7 for displaying the composite image data.
