Title:
FM RECEIVER CIRCUIT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5597755
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To attain excellent FM reception which is not hard to hear by putting a received-signal noise limiting circuit into operation after an input electric field decreases below a preset field value and a monostable multivibrator operates for a certain time.

CONSTITUTION: From the output of the initial-stage amplifier of IF3 to terminal 4, an IF signal is extracted and applied to IF amplifier 10, where it is amplified up to a needed level, and its output is rectified 11 to obtain a DC output corresponding to an IF signal level, so that switching cricuit 12 will turn ON-OFF corresponding to the magnitude of the output. Namely, whe input electric field E decreases below preset electric field Es or it decreases further below it to put monostable multivibrator 13 into operation for a limited time, received-signal noise limiting circuit 9 starts operating. Consequently, even if the input electric field frequency varies, excellent FM reception which is not hard to hear can be brought into effect without performing switching operation frequently.
