Abstract:
To provide a foam generator which can generate foam having stable characteristics without needing a large control force.SOLUTION: A foam generator (1) is used to generate foam (F) from a liquid in a container (C). The device (1) includes: a perforated plate (2) having one or more holes (2a); a pump (3); and a case (4) which houses the perforated plate (2) and the pump (3). The case (4) includes: an attachment part (40); a gas chamber (41); a ventilation passage (P); and a foam passage (46). The attachment part (40) is attached to a mouth part (Ca) of the container (C). The gas chamber (41) is located adjacent to the attachment part (40) through the perforated plate (2). The ventilation passage (P) allows communication between the exterior of the case (4) and the gas chamber (41) through the pump (3). The foam passage (46) allows communication between the attachment part (40) and the exterior of the case (4).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
