Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress formation of a cavity to prevent deterioration of expansion/contraction fatigue strength.SOLUTION: A foam pipe joint has a body part 11 and a reception part 12 formed integrally with an opening part of the body part 11, and is formed of thermoplastic resin. A body thick part of the body part 11 has a foam layer ratio of 70-95%, and the reception part 12 has a foam layer ratio of 20-95%. The body part 11 has an average bubble diameter of 0.03-0.24 mm in a region of 1 mm from a surface layer, 0.02-0.03 mm in a region of a half distance of a pipe in a thickness direction from a surface, and 0.02-0.03 mm in a region of a quarter of the pipe in the thickness direction from the surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
