To obtain the subject composition stable in the form of a gel, capable of making a wet feeling without a greasy feeling remain on skin after rinsing and useful as a cleaning agent by including a surface-active ingredient, an oil, a gelling agent and a nonionic emulsifying agent.
This gelled composition comprises (A) a surface-active ingredient composed of at least one kind of ionic surfactant (preferably an amphoteric surfactant or the like), (B) an oil (preferably a hydrocarbon oil or the like), (C) a gelling agent and (D) a nonionic emulsifying agent. The composition is preferably composed of the component A in an amount of 10-20 wt.%, the component B in an amount of 50-90 wt.%, the component C in an amount of 3-10 wt.% and the component D in an amount of 2.5-20 wt.% based on the whole weight thereof. Besides, the component C is mixed with the component D and the component A is added to the obtained mixture. Furthermore, the component B is added to obtain the composition. Thereby, the effective and nonirritant composition for cleaning can be expected.
