Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prepare the title compsn. which forms on the surface of a coated item a foam having a high cure rate, excellent adhesive properties, and a uniform quality by compounding a resol phenol resin with a specific adhesion improver, a specific cure rate improver, and a specific viscosity depressant. CONSTITUTION:A resol phenol resin is compounded with a methylmethoxylated polyamide (e.g. Toresin T-30, a product of Teikoku Kagaku Sangyou Co., Ltd.) or epsilon-caprolactam as an adhesion improver, furfuryl alcohol or resorcinol as a cure rate improver, and furfuryl alcohol or epsilon-carprolactam as a viscosity depressant.
