Abstract:

To provide a foamable thermoplastic resin composition which not only has good sealing performance, openability and gas barrier properties, but also does not contain a softner, or is excellent in processing moldability even if adding only a small amount of the softner; and to provide a foamed molded body and a synthesized cork using the composition.

The foamable thermoplastic resin composition containing: component (a) which is an isobutylene block copolymer constituted of a polymer block which is based on isobutylene and a polymer block which is not based on isobutylene and is constituted of a cationically polymerizable monomer component; component (b) which is a polypropylene-based resin having a melt flow rate of 200 g/10 minutes or more but 4,000 g/10 minutes or less under conditions of 230C and a load of 2.16 kg; and component (c) which is a foaming agent, is achieved.
