Abstract:
PURPOSE: To produce easily a foamed polyester sheet prepared by uniformly and finely foaming a polyester and having a high expansion ratio and excellent high-temperature stability.
CONSTITUTION: This foamed sheet is made from resin composition comprising 100 pts.wt. crystalline polyester resin comprising terephthalic acid and ethylene glycol and 1,4-butanediol (the molar ratio of ethylene glycol to 1,4-butane diol is 1:9 to 9:1) and 0.01-5 pts.wt. inorganic nucleator comprising glass or a mineral material.
