To provide a long-lived low-cost foamed solid lubricant capable of improving holding power of a lubricating component of the foamed solid lubricant holding the lubricating component, and retaining the amount of the exuded lubricant by deformation of the foamed solid lubricant or external force at the minimum requirement, and to provide a universal joint, and a bearing enclosed with the lubricant.
The foamed solid lubricant comprises the lubricating component in a resin which is foamed and cured to be porosified. The lubricating component comprises a wax having 70-150C melting point in at least one selected from among a lubricating oil and a grease. The wax is at least one wax selected from among a fatty acid monoamide-based wax, a hydrogen hardened oil-based wax, and a hydrocarbon-based wax. As an illustrated example of the constant velocity universal joint sealing in the lubricant, the foamed solid lubricant 10 is sealed in the interior of the constant velocity universal joint having an outer member 2; an inner member 3; track grooves 4 and 5; steel balls 6; a cage 7; a shaft 8; and a boot 9.
