Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a focal-plane shutter for a camera intended to stabilize aperture blade exposure operation start positions and to ensure a stable exposure operation.SOLUTION: A focal-plane shutter for a camera comprises: arms 8, 10 to which driving forces are applied by motors 6 and 7, respectively rotatably attached to a ground plate 1; and groups of blades sequentially, pivotally supported for a plurality of arms including the arms 8, 10, the blade groups being able to be positioned to exposure-operation start positions, respectively during release and a stable exposure operation being able to be ensured since stopper portions abutted by the blade groups on an opposite side to an exposure operation direction of the blade groups are provided.
