Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase resolution of a detection object member detected by an optical sensor while achieving simplification, miniaturization, and so on of a structure in a focal plane shutter.SOLUTION: A focal plane shutter includes a plate 10 with an aperture for exposure, a blade member 40 freely movably provided on the plate so as to open/close the aperture, a driving member 60 for driving the blade member, a detection object plate 80 moved according to the blade member, and an optical sensor 90 disposed so as to face the detection object plate. The detection object plate 80 includes; a plurality of slits 83a and 84a formed to open radially at intervals of a prescribed angle; and light-transmissive plate parts 83b and 84b which are disposed in each of the plurality of slits so as to equally divide the slit in a circumferential direction and have prescribed light transmissivities. Thus the resolution of the detection object plate detected by the optical sensor can be increased while simplification, miniaturization, and so on of a structure are achieved.
