Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a focal-plane shutter for a camera constituted to arbitrarily and overall suppress and stop the inconvenient phenomenon of a blade group, especially the unnecessary movement of the blade group in an optical axial direction, in association with each other, in an arbitrary process from the superimposed state of the blade group to its spread state.
SOLUTION: The focal plane shutter is provided with a base plate 1 having an aperture 1a, two blade groups 2... consisting of plural blades, plural blade arms 4, 5..., an intermediate plate 6 and a cover plate. At this time, in at least one of the superimposed, traveling and spread states of each blade group, guiding parts 13... for suppressing the movement of a specific amount or above of at least one of shafts 83... for connecting the blade arms 4, 5... and the blade groups 2..., in the optical axial direction are provided on at least one of the base plate 1 and the cover plate.
