Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a focal-plane shutter for a camera having simple constitution and capable of detecting the abnormal actuation of a front blade driving member and a rear blade driving member. SOLUTION: An abnormal actuation detecting switch is constituted of contact members 8 and 9. When energizing an electromagnet for a front blade is cut off, the front blade driving member 10 starts actuation to make a front blade perform exposing actuation, and its pressing part 10d presses the member 9 so as to make the abnormal actuation detecting switch in an on-state. When energizing an electromagnet for a rear blade is cut off, the rear blade driving member 13 starts actuation to make a rear blade perform exposing actuation, and its pressing part 13d rotates a transmitting member 17, and the pressing part 17b of the member 17 presses the member 8 so as to make the abnormal actuation detecting switch in the on-state. Only when at least either of two driving members starts the actuation earlier than specified time, the abnormal actuation detecting switch detects the actuation as abnormal actuation.
