Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a focal plane shutter for cameras that can, even if the upper part of the focal plane shutter matching a space in which a pentaprism on the camera side is reduced in size, secure a sufficient extent of overlapping of the tip parts of blade members and accordingly prevent light leaks.SOLUTION: Blade members 24, which are slit-forming blades of rear blades, are so formed as to be narrower at the center of the side reverse to the slit-forming edges than the tip part.
