Abstract:
To configure a focal plane shutter so as to stably adjust the travel speed of a blade.SOLUTION: The focal plane shutter is configured to include a base plate which has an opening for exposure, the blade which is operated so as to switch the opening/closing states of the opening, a drive lever which drives the blade by an energizing force, a rotation shaft which serves as the center of the rotation of the drive lever, a helical spring which is attached to the rotation shaft and whose one end is connected to the drive lever, to apply the energizing force to the drive lever, a speed control gear which is connected to the other end of the helical spring, a speed control worm which is engaged with the speed control gear and connected, and a drive part which rotates the speed control worm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
