Abstract:
To configure a focal plane shutter that enables suppression of occurrence of a metal piece, a metal powder or the like by an action of blades.SOLUTION: A focal plane shutter comprises: a base plate that has an exposure-purpose opening part; a blade that works so as to switch an opening/closing state of the opening part; and a driving mechanism that drives the blade. The driving mechanism includes a connecting tool that connects a first member and a second member. The connecting tool has a head part and a shaft part, and is configured so that an end part of the shaft part is depressed to thereby swage the first member and the second member, and is configured to have pressure-sensitive adhesive arranged at the end part of the swaged shaft part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
