Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a focal plane shutter which allows a curtain to be stabilized during continuous operation to suppress variation in exposure time.SOLUTION: A focal plane shutter 10 comprises a base plate 11 having a first aperture 12, a blade receiving plate 15 which is disposed so as to face the base plate 11 and has a second aperture 16 formed in a position corresponding to the first aperture 12, and a rear curtain 30B which is disposed between the base plate 11 and the blade receiving plate 15 and is moved between an opening position for opening the first aperture 12 and the second aperture 16 and a closing position for closing the first aperture 12 and the second aperture 16 to open and close the first aperture 12 and the second aperture 16. The blade receiving plate 15 has a projection 17 which is provided to project toward the rear curtain 30B and allows the rear curtain 30B to be brought into contact therewith, in a position where the blade receiving plate 15 overlaps the rear curtain 30B in the opening position when viewed from an optical axis direction L3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
