Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a focal-plane shutter and an optical instrument capable of suppressing deformation of an engaging hole of a drive arm while suppressing a weight increase and an increase of a manufacturing cost of the drive arm.SOLUTION: A focal-plane shutter comprises: a substrate having an aperture; a curtain for opening and closing the aperture; a driving lever having a drive pin and configured to oscillate; a drive arm made of synthetic resin, having an engaging hole configured to engage with the drive pin, configured to oscillate around the same center as the oscillation center of the driving lever, and configured to drive the curtain; and a regulation part configured to regulate an oscillation range of the driving lever.
