Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a protrusion of a blade although the blade is deformed by inertia force when a rear curtain travel is completed and a part of the rear curtain protrudes on a low-pass filter side.SOLUTION: A focal plane shutter comprises: at least one blade group; a shutter base plate that has the blade group rotatably attached; a blade operation member that is rotatably pivoted to the shutter base plate, and when photographing, causes energization force of a drive spring to operate the blade group from a stand-by position to a travel completion position; and a buffer member that is contactable with the blade group at a travel completion position. At least one piece out of the blade group is provided with a shape protruding in a blade travel direction, and when compressed and deformed in a longitudinal direction of the blade, the protrusion shape comes into contact with the buffer member so as to suppress a compressed deformation.
