Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain speeding-up of a blade member and reduction in impact force thereof in focal plane shutters.SOLUTION: In a structure in which a blade member 30 is movably provided in a base plate 10 to open/close an aperture part 10a, a drive member 50 drives the blade member, an urging spring 60 applies urging force to travel the drive member, and a shutter operation is executed by travelling the drive member by the urging force of the urging spring after setting the drive member in a setting position prior to the shutter operation against the urging force of the urging spring, an urging force adjustment mechanism (120, 90c and 130) is provided that makes the urging force of the urging spring 60 larger when setting the drive member in the setting position and makes the urging force thereof smaller right before completion of the shutter operation. Accordingly, while speeding-up of a frame speed, the shutter speed and the like are attained, by weakening an impact upon completion of travelling of the blade member, a backlash (bound) of the blade member, an impact sound, vibration of the blade member and the like can be prevented.
