Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently mitigate an impact when travelling of blade members opening/closing an opening part is completed in focal plane shutters, and to prevent wear-out of components, damage thereof and the like.SOLUTION: A focal plane shutter comprises: a base plate 10 that has an opening part 10a; blade members 20 and 30 that are movably provided in the base plate; drive members 40 and 50 that drive the blade members; and a buffer member 60 that is provided in the base plate to mitigate an impact by allowing drive pins 41a and 51a of the drive members to abut on. The buffer member 60 has a reception recess part 62 formed so as to expand toward the drive pins and taper toward a direction apart from the drive pins. The reception recess part 62 has: a contactless area 62a that contactlessly faces the drive pins in a movement direction of the drive pins; and each end contact area 62b that detachably contacts with each side of the drive pins with respect to the movement direction to be elastically deformable. Accordingly, an impact when travelling of the blade members is completed can be efficiently mitigated and wear-out of components, damage thereof and the like can be prevented.
