Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a focal-plane shutter for a camera having the driving mechanism having a constitution having a costwise advantage. SOLUTION: A pawl part 2b and a ring-like supporting part 2d are formed by bending working at a comparatively thin upper bottom board 2 attached so as to be nearly in parallel with a shutter bottom board. A ratchet member 3 possesses a shaft part 3a fitted in the bearing hole 2a of the upper bottom board 2, a bearing part 3b supporting one end of the shaft part 4a of a driving member 4 provided on a side opposed to the shaft part 3, a slit 3c for the spring support of a driving spring 5, a tooth part 3d and a flange part 3e. The ratchet member 3 is attached at the upper bottom board 2, and when the shaft part 4a of the driving member 4 is supported by the ratchet member 3 and the shutter bottom board 1, the flange part 3e is supported by the ring-like supporting part 2d, and the ratchet member 3 is maintained in a specified posture without being affected by a fitting common difference between the bearing hole 2a and the shaft part 3a.
